Job Description:
- Responsible for Plant Maintenance operations in multiple stations where maintenance work is conducted in-house or contracted to a vendor. Work as a liaison between the company, the contract vendor and partner with Tech Ops maintenance management to ensure facilities related work is maintained per company standards and the Facilities Maintenance Manual.
- This job is a member of the Facilities Maintenance Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists local station management, personnel and vendors with part procurement and technical expertise to expedite repairs
- Works with station personnel and vendors for product improvement and equipment upgrades. Provide vendors with direction to enhance the operation and improve cost efficiencies
- Some travel may be required
- Initiates and manages repair work orders for time and material vendors as per the outlined procedures
- Makes technical recommendations regarding facilities/ (GSE) department, review contracts and vendor quotes for accuracy and correct job scope
- Reviews vendor invoices for correct labor and material charges
- Assists Management in evaluating Plant Maintenance employees and vendors for qualifications, experience levels, facilities, parts support and overall ability to comply with Facility maintenance department programs and procedures
- Performs Facilities, station, and vendor audits to ensure compliance with all Facilities Maintenance policies, procedures and standards
- Informs Station Management of Facilities abuse related damage and accident repair cost
- Completes other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- Ability to change direction when needed

- Understanding of airline/technical operations
- Electrical or HVAC certification
- Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills
- Ability to assign work to designated workers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Qualification & Experience:
- Knowledge of HVAC and industrial mechanical systems
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Strong interpersonal and PC skills
- 1 year leadership experience supervising production operation in an area related to heavy/shop maintenance
- Knowledge of labor reporting and crew utilization
- Strong working knowledge of the General Procedure Manual and Safety Policy Procedure Manual
- Experience supervising / leading represented workgroups
- Knowledge of airport facilities maintenance and general repairs
