Job Description:
Our Downstream Chemical Team uses technology consisting of chemistry, knowledge expertise, Intellectual Property, correct application methods and monitoring to improve the water and process treatment applications at refinery and industrial plants while providing value to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Chemical Services Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Working and acting in a safe and deliberate manner to ensure HSE compliance at all times which will include safe and reliable chemical transfers
- Maintaining chemical and inventory surveillance and operating functions to ensure correct rates of operation
- Troubleshooting and correcting customer systems to resolve production related challenges and to ensure optimization of well performance
- Implementing, monitoring, and assessing chemical injection systems and finished fuel additives to ensure customer quality
- Providing technical guidance for mobilization and demobilization of chemical injection systems to ensure safety and performance
- Placing orders of products and chemicals for customers to ensure required inventory and stock levels
Job Requirements:
- Have a technical diploma, Degree or equivalent, related work experience
- Show good, general technical knowledge of company’s products and services and their applications to customer needs and requirements
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Working at elevated heights & climbing barrel ladders
- Experience collecting and analyzing of samples
- Show a good understanding of IT such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Chemical handling experience
- Be able to pass a background and drug test
