Job Description:
All current or former federal employees with competitive/reinstatement eligibility // CTAP/ICTAP eligibles within the local commuting area // Veterans’ Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) Eligibles // Persons eligible under Special Hiring Authorities // Current or former time-limited employees eligible under PL-114-47, Land Management Workforce Flexibility Act (LMWFA) // Public Land Corps (PLC) eligibles who within the past two years have completed all requirements of a creditable PLC project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze results of incident operations and prepares reports with recommended action.
- Provides direction and interpretation of policies, procedures and guidelines to managers and co-workers.
- Develops or modifies appropriate business management training material for positions within the organization.
- Provides expert advice and consultation to fire and field office managers on fire business management activities.
- Evaluates and prepares reports with recommended action on business management operations during and after emergency incidents.
- Analyzes comparisons of historical and current incident cost data.
- Provides resolutions to incident related business management problems and issues during incidents..
Job Requirements:
- Appointment will be subject to a favorably adjudicated background/suitability investigation/determination. Failure to possess or obtain a favorable determination will result in the cancellation of the offer or will be grounds for termination.
