British Council Job Vacancies – Instructional Designer

Job Description:

We’re looking to build our international team of instructional designers to research, design and create high-quality, engaging, targeted learning content for online and face-to-face communication skills courses and assessments.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the latest thinking and trends, as well as experience of corporate training and industry contexts, written and spoken communication skills course review, development and customisation; reporting; adult learning principles; assessment and diversity and inclusion
• Full mastery of English equivalent to C2 / IELTS Band 9
• Right to work in your country of residence
• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours’ work per month
• Highly developed skills in communicating, planning and organising and working independently within remote matrix teams
• Cambridge CELTA, DELTA, Trinity cert TESOL, a recognised training or materials design qualification.
