Job Description:
The Assistant Consultant will play an important role within the Warm Welcome Scholarship team, supporting key areas of the programme development and delivery. The role requires good organisational skills to independently manage multiple demands and deadlines, together with strong team-working and communication skills. A high level of attention to detail is needed to manage work to meet internal and client project management requirements. The role also requires experience of working with financial management systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- To undertake financial tasks including invoicing, raising purchase orders, and maintaining relevant spreadsheets.
- Update project management documentation and ensure the documentation is appropriately mapped and stored to meet British Council and client requirements.
- Providing general event administration and support.
- Issuing and processing grant agreements and quarterly payments to the Higher Education Providers.
- To participate as an active member of the Warm Welcome Scholarship team in the application of programme policies and processes such as grant management, outreach and engagement, monitoring, evaluation and
- learning (MEL).
Job Requirements:
- Experience of using SAP financial management system
- Experience of working with financial management systems
- Understanding of UK Higher Education sector
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience of project management
- Experience of working on a global programme
