Job Description:

Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of water quality laws, regs, and policies
- Knowledge of S.F. Bay dredge and fill program and Long-Term Management Strategy
- Experience with dredge and fill projects including 401 water quality certification regulations
- Knowledge of PCB pollution sources, PCB fate and transport, and ecological risk assessment
- Experience developing, managing, or evaluating aquatic resource (e.g. tidal wetland) restoration projects
- Experience interacting and negotiating with stakeholders
- Experience writing technical reports or scientific publications
- Experience verbally presenting technical information to a scientific audience
- Knowledge of coastal, estuarine, or fluvial sediment transport dynamics
- Experience applying principals of fluvial geomorphology to environmental projects
- Knowledge of sea level rise models and hazard impacts applicable to S.F. Bay
- Knowledge of sediment toxicity or chemistry testing methods and guidance to evaluate the acceptability of dredged sediment at possible disposal sites
