Job Description:
The Summer Undergraduate Internship Program with the City of Round Rock is designed to provide an on-the-job opportunity to gain “real world” work experience in a career-related professional workforce environment. This is an administrative internship program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with reviewing and revising the winter weather plan.
- Assists with reviewing and revising the agency database.
- Assists with developing and strengthening the emergency management volunteer and training programs.
- Assists with organization of the Emergency Management office including organizing files and binders.
- Participates in risk-reduction team.
- Provides support for the training and exercise programs.
- Communicates in a professional manner.
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Be enrolled full-time or a recent graduate of an accredited university or college
- Must be classified as an Undergrad student and provide an unofficial transcript and resume
