Job Description:
The purpose of the position is to represent MSC equity in matters pertaining to Global Force Management; assist in managing people, platforms, and processes; ensure adherence to GFM Implementation Guidelines; relay Request For Force (RFF) and Request For Support (RFS) messages to appropriate MSC offices; reply to GFM related questions from higher headquarters, such as USFF and USTRANSCOM.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will actively seek out technological innovations which may be adapted for use by MSC to improve operational readiness and initiate actions to incorporate approved systems.
- You will coordinate reporting requirements and ensure daily updates reflected in SLIDER and other scheduling systems.
- You will develop and implement policies and procedures for the use of DepSked and SLIDER to ensure operational readiness of MSC ships.
- You will provide administration and training for Joint Capabilities Resource Manager, Collaboration of Sea (CAS), Logbook and other systems throughout MSC worldwide.
- You will coordinate deployment of Government operated and commercially operated ships and maintain liaison with other Government agencies and activities.
- You will serve as a Global Force Management action officer.
