This job posting is for Enlistment or Commission into the Active or Reserve component of the United States Army. There are several jobs needed to be filled in this career field. Below are a few of those jobs. Training is provided for all jobs and all benefits start the day you leave for training. There is an AGE CUTOFF OF 17-35.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you’ll have the important responsibility of caring for and aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of the Soldiers.
• You’ll collect samples from patients and perform chemical and biological tests to help diagnose.
• You’ll have to work through a lot of unknowns and be willing and able to work through projects autonomously and confidently.
• You’ll sample blood types, perform elementary blood banking, conduct laboratory procedures, maintain laboratory equipment, and pack, unpack, inspect, store, and distribute blood and blood products.

Job Requirements:

• No experience necessary.
• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to achieve a minimum of 31 of the ASVAB.
