Costa Careers – Regional Maintenance Surveyor

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Regional Maintenance Surveyor to deliver a cost-effective Repairs & Maintenance service within the South and South West area of the Costa Stores estate to maintain Costa’s assets to legal and brand standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Play an active role in the repair and maintenance escalation process
• Manage reactive, quoted works and lease dilapidation projects
• Maintaining an overview of Regional Proactive, Reactive and Planned Maintenance budgets
• Audit the performance and quality of work of the Repairs & Maintenance supply chain

Job Requirements:

• Ideally MCIOB or MRICS qualification preferred (but not essential)
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Proven expertise in a multi-site commercial surveying or general building background role
• Understanding of lease agreements and repair responsibilities
• Experience of managing repair and maintenance budgets
• Track record working in response driven maintenance environment
• Sound knowledge of major building disciplines and methods, e.g. roofing, electrical, plumbing and heating, air conditioning, and general building fabric
• Open to change, willing to consider alternative ways of working, and challenge inefficiencies in a constructive manner
