In this role, you’ll join a team that’s developing, maintaining, and implementing innovative new features in the software and systems that drive over 12,000 Costa Express machines worldwide. Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse and improve existing software development processes
- Advise on and implement best practices in software engineering
- Integrate evolving hardware to give our customers a richer experience
- Help to design and develop new innovations for our machines that drive customer engagement and enrich user experience
- Work with the team and stakeholders to deliver great software
- Plan, estimate, and deliver work as part of a strong Agile team
- Help us build towards best of breed system design
Job Requirements:
- IOT, Edge computing and building connected devices
- Writing automated tests and using mocking frameworks
- Evolving a devops pipeline to support multiple platforms
- .NET desktop application development
- Migrating towards modular architecture
- Building for international markets
- EPOS, Vending machine systems, Payment hardware integration and MDB, ICP
- Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem
- An understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
- An ability to take the initiative, propose solutions and work within a team
