Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews performance plans to ensure job requirements or performance elements are consistent with the organization’s functions and the employee duty requirements during the rating period, narratives are devoid of inappropriate comments, and exceptional levels of performance are adequately substantiated by the rater’s narrative.
  • Coordinates activities in the areas of engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participates and represents OIG in the agency’s DEIA council.
  • Advises employees, supervisors, and managers on requesting and documenting leave, authorities for granting and denying leave, and appropriate reasons for and charges to specific types of leave.
  • Coordinates with OIG’s service provider on the implementation and execution of employee relations actions including discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling, and related functions.
  • Advises managers on the procedures relating to recruitment, selection, and utilization of hiring flexibilities. Initiates procedures when decisions are made and completes all follow-up action, including identification of specific knowledge, skills, and abilities, selective placement and quality ranking factors, and other critical recruitment components..
