Job Description:

The electronics engineer is responsible for supporting the national modifications and technical maintenance of hardware and software concerns in communications systems, equipment, and facilities of the National Airspace System. Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments and plans the implementation of projects/programs under limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, or more experienced engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyzes operational, maintenance, and logistical problems to identify impact and develop solutions. Contributes to the preparation of engineering study reports detailing results of analysis and recommendations. Develops hardware and software modifications to correct problems with communications systems. Assists in the development of test plans, procedures, and quality control techniques to insure quality of product. Analyzes technical maintenance documentation for communications systems to ensure it is complete, accurate, and adequate.

Job Requirements:

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
