Are you looking to be part of a professional administration team that provides clerical support to the Inland Deserts Region? The Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Office Technician (Typing) in our Inland Deserts Region 6 Headquarters located in Ontario. Under the general direction of the Administrative Officer III (AO III) the Office Technician will provide clerical support for Region 6 staff by answering phones and relaying information to the general public and employees, complete general typing, data entry, spreadsheets, forms, faxing, e-mailing, filing, processing incoming and outgoing mail, general office procurement, and processing invoices. Provide clerical support for Region 6 staff in the Ontario office including: Answering phones and relaying information to the general public and employees. General typing, including creating spreadsheets/forms, faxing, emailing and weekly filing as required. Maintain well organized filing system for items of responsibility. Copying and distribution of general information to all employees. Back-up to front desk duties including answering the public phone line, processing incoming and outgoing mail, revolving fund requests and front lobby duties. Back-up to Executive Secretary in support of the Regional Manager, AOIII and Environmental Program Managers. General office procurement for Ontario office and in support of Regional Staff as needed, including assisting Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) with regional fleet acquisitions which includes receiving purchase requests (Form 555); quotes, bid documentation; leveraged procurement agreement documents; reviews procurement documents for completeness; attaining required approvals, funding sources, enter and submit FI$Cal requisitions into FI$Cal system. Update FAP as needed and requested from AGPA. Receives and prepares the facility’s vendor invoices for processing, including attaining required approvals. Process and submit invoices for payments into FI$Cal system, uploading, tracking utility invoices through DFW’s computer-based sustainability program. Review State Owned Housing rental agreements for accuracy, appropriate signature, and submit rental agreements to BMB -State Owned Housing analyst for processing start-up and canceling of rental fees
