Ford Employment – Charging Deployment Lead

Job Description:

We’re looking for talented individuals to join the Charging team and play an integral role in delivering new business models, experiences, and capabilities. As a Charging Deployment Lead, you will lead our UK implementation of Ford Pro depot charging solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify the hardware and work orders quotation ensuring the competitive pricing and enough resource to deliver projects
• Define a clear programme of works and reporting metrics that should be reported by L1 contractor on the roll-out progress
• Establishing relationships with third parties in the Markets that can support and speed up the infrastructure roll-out as well as offer commercially competitive services to a designated L1 contractor ( ICP’s, iDNO’s etc.)
• Working closely with Commercial Solutions Team providing necessary support and inputs to customers technical queries
• Review and optimise existing contract structures, defining and implementing renegotiation strategies as required
• Managing subcontractors to ensure the infrastructure is delivered on time and budget
• Building and managing Deployments team in UK that will be responsible for on the ground delivery of projects – E2E delivery of charging infrastructure starting with site assessment to depot go live – commissioning and onboarding the chargers to Ford Pro back-end to handing over to After Sales Team – the role starts as individual contributor and build the team as the pipeline of projects grows
• Working closely with European L1 turn-key provider to establish processes and delivery framework
• Working closely with product managers to ensure that we develop relevant solutions for depot customers

Job Requirements:

• Experience with goal setting and deliverables tracking
• Relationship builder, collaborator
• 3+ years of experience with EV charging solutions and/or battery energy solutions
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Passion for vehicle electrification
• Proficient in modern collaboration tools such as Office 365, SharePoint and WebEx Teams
• Strong Project Management Skills and Program delivery experience
• Comfort in working in ambiguous situations
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven experience in E-Mobility
