Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the identification of lessons learned and their application to subsequent systems. Interface with the Manufacturing Operations to understand their technical challenges and opportunities
  • Lead projects supporting manufacturing engineering leveraging advanced technologies
  • Provide technical leadership to peers and management to assure the delivery of system performance
  • Teach/Coach/Mentor and document technical knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver planned project deliverables
  • Benchmark new advanced technologies and develop supplier partnerships to benefits delivering Zero Faults Forward capabilities
  • Lead projects tied to Zero Faults Forward initiatives, delivering key capabilities as required
  • Strong capability in industrial processing, controls, software, and Industrial IoT systems with a record of delivery

Qualification & Experience:

  • Familiarity with robots – ABB, Fanuc, Universal Robotics, Kawaski
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (wired and wireless)
  • Knowledge of Mfg 4.0 (Industry 4.0) key principles – data collection, AI, machine learning, IIoT, Digital Twin
  • Understanding of PLCs, Robots, Vision and other automation systems
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or pursuing and received by January 2022
  • Direct experience with manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with AGVs (automated guided vehicles)
  • Demonstrated programming experience
