Job Description:
The Delivery Merchandising Specialist is a full-time position responsible for delivering and merchandising Frito-Lay product to various customers. This role will work an average of ~45 hours per week and hours and start times vary by assigned route. This role will typically deliver to 2-4 stores and then merchandise 1-2 stores each day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Checking in orders with store receiver
- Delivering product to assigned route stores
- Cleaning and straightening shelves/racks, checking code dates, and removing unsaleables
- Safely and efficiently placing/stocking product within the recommended pattern following defined account standards in all selling locations
- Checking shelves/racks for appearance and pricing accuracy
- Assembling and/or teardown promotional and other displays
- Being responsible for the correct sequence and order of carts from dead stack deliveries
- Managing the sorting and bundling of cardboard at Frito-Lay Facility
- Being responsible for returning empty carts and cardboard from stores
- Rotating shelved product in all selling locations
Job Requirements:
- Work safely and comply with all identified Frito Lay and store procedures, work rules and policies
- Available to work weekend and holiday hours
- Accurately and timely report hours worked and mileage driven
- Must work in all weather conditions
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and meet MVR requirements, all in accordance with appropriate Frito Lay fleet policy
- Must have or be able to develop a thorough understanding of the Frito-Lay route delivery system (HHC, truck, customer interaction)? Exhibits strong communication skills with customers
- Physical Requirements: Classified as medium work / Frequent lifting up to 15 to 40 pounds / Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, and walking
- Must meet all Frito-Lay and DOT qualifications
- May be required to drive personal vehicle
