With a great deal of knowledge on how to solve people’s needs, the interior design team utilizes smart, functional, sustainable and affordable IKEA products to create environments that excite and engages our visitors. Inspiring our IKEA visitors that they can do it too!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stimulating and increasing the interest for home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
  • Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.
  • Applying your home furnishing knowledge to create home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
  • Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
  • Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
    Physically implementing and setting up of new room-settings.

Job Requirements:

You have a passion for home furnishing, and you are curious about how people live. You thrive on working in a fast paced, creative environment where you work to tight deadlines. This is a physical, fast-paced role so you will need a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work with a variety of tools including ladders and power tools. You aspire to be a motivational leader who can engage people fully to reach set goals, and generate growth and long-term profitability, continually challenging yourself and your partners to strengthen the IKEA brand and at the same time exceed expectations of our customers. You are confident in communicating, influencing and coaching others and continually seek new opportunities to improve the way we work, and encourage others to do so. You have a formal tertial qualification in interior design along with industry experience. A strong understanding of Revit is considered essential, with experience with other programs such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Adobe CC Suite highly regarded.
