Job Description:

To lead the identification and acquisition of business partnerships which drive profitable revenue across ODEON Cinemas Group (OCG), whilst supporting the development of sales capabilities & tools to support growth in territory B2B revenues where there are synergies across Europe.  This is a key leadership role within a respected, dynamic Commercial team, driving growth through our purpose of making movies better for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with territory Sales Heads to co-ordinate the overall OCG sales plan and roadmap, including sales capabilities and enablers, acting as the ‘voice of business partnerships’ across OCG leadership.​
  • Effectively manage key stakeholders across OCG group, to unlock revenue opportunities through effective collaboration across IT, Commercial, Operations, Food & Beverage, Development & Real Estate, Finance, Procurement and People colleagues across OCG.​​
  • Steer strategic analysis to identify scalable and innovative B2B opportunities through market and product penetration and extension, supporting the territory Sales Heads​
  • Manage the matrix between the OCG Commercial function and the individual territory Sales teams, applying insights across territories and maximising our collective capabilities.​​
  • Identify, nurture and deliver strategic partnerships across Europe which deliver profitable growth through content, membership, F&B, attendance/footfall benefits as well as non-core revenues, including the development of financial models, sales pitch documents and relationship management.​
  • Troubleshoot to identify strategic issues and solve commercial problems through applying diagnostic and project management tools.​​

Job Requirements:

  • A strategic thinker, able to navigate ambiguity, assimilate information and communicate solutions in a compelling way at board level​
  • Significant experience in sales, business development and partner management, including identifying, closing and account managing sizeable partnerships, ideally gained at well-known service brands with multiple products and revenue streams​
  • Project management and 360 change management skills​​
  • Leadership skills, ability to set high standards and lead by example.​
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail with a completer/finisher mindset and strong multitasking skills.​​
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level and communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders, building strong relationships.​​
  • Experience of working across Europe +/or working with different cultures.​​
  • A driven and agile self-starter, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.​​
  • Data driven and analytical, and commercially sound, with a solid understanding of business & channel performance and results driven.​​
