Lidl Careers – Online Design Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for an Online Design Officer to join our Marketing department. The purpose of the Online Design Officer is to act as the creative and technical lead for all design tasks across the Lidl GB owned digital channels, including the website, recipe website, Lidl app, Lidl Plus app, newsletters, and additional microsites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and HTML creation of weekly and campaign specific newsletters for all requested Lidl properties
• Working closely with our lead creative agency to ensure close strategic alignment in brand look-and-feel
• Liaising with stakeholders as part of campaign management to produce a timeline based upon key milestones identified in the brief meetings and liaise regularly with the campaign manager for Tier 1 campaigns
• Working with the Online Content Officer to build new pages within our website
• Providing a rigorous and critical eye across work produced by other members of the team
• Leading the design implementation of all seasonal and event-based campaigns online, managing the creative development of all visual items from brief to execution in coordination with lead brand designers
• Presenting work in regular feedback sessions and wider departmental showcase meetings in all matters regarding updates to the CMS, developing new technical solutions in line with International product releases in order to support the ongoing development of our website

Job Requirements:

• A creative thinker and idea generator with a strong creative eye
• Ability to pivit quickly and react to shifting prioritites
• Extensive experience across the Adobe suite and creating emails from scratch using HTML
• Great written and verbal communication skills
