Job Description:
Lidl US is seeking a dynamic, stylish, and passionate Test Cook to join our Quality Assurance team at our Headquarters in Arlington, VA in our awesome state of the art Test Kitchen. The Administrative Assistant – Quality Assurance (Test Cook) will support our QA and Purchasing teams by cooking and monitoring the results of product testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep an organized task schedule
- Support product testing and monitor results
- Additional administrative duties as needed
- Prepare large amounts of product samples
- Monitor the kitchen and storage areas and maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Requirements:
- This position will travel less than 25% of the time. No overnight travel will be required.
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certified preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Driver’s license
- Software: Basic use of Microsoft Office Suite
Qualification & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen
- High school diploma/GED
