Job Description:

The Maintenance Intern provides the best possible support by assisting with all aspects of Maintenance planning. This position will allow the team member to gain insight to the production maintenance processes in our shops (Body Shop or Paint Shop and Assembly). The internship will expose the team member to all levels in the organization to assist in building a resume that will allow the team member to become competitive in the job market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Feasibility analysis of optimization projects
• Work with maintenance engineering on PM plan creation
• Assist where needed at the department
• Improve transparency of project-related action items
• Develop and track useful KPIs
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
• Coordinate project steps with plant operations

Job Requirements:

• The individual should be self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization.
• German language is a plus but not a requirement
• A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• He or she should be willing to learn and be taught skills from experienced members of the team
• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
• Analytical thinking, ability to work systematically and independently
• Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company
• Available for a minimum of 3 months, prefer availability for a maximum of 6 months
• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business or relevant degree, or graduated within the past 12 months
