Job Description:

This position is located within the Analytics and Business Intelligence group, which provides actionable and advanced reporting & BI reporting solutions to support MetLife Business operations and strategy. The incumbent would work as part of this team to support the Cognos and projects in traditional BI tools.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work with BI reporting platforms like Cognos
• Participate in overall architecture and strategy for the deployment of BI applications.
• Expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics reporting platform
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of management, including translating complex ideas and data into actionable steps for business units
• Extensive experience in creating Cognos reports using IBM Cognos Analytics suite

Qualification & Experience:

• Knowledge on Agile Methodoligies
• Hands on experience in any of the BI reporting tools
• Knowledge of SQL queries
• Experience in metadata modeling using Framework Manager
• Experience in SQL scripting and reporting analysis
