Job Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll support the Facilities Manager to deliver an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. You’ll ensure high standards are delivered and maintained at all times.
Your job will be different every day, providing exciting opportunities to deliver great experiences and conservation work whilst keeping people safe. Your work will include provision of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs to interesting structures like the historic mansion, a Victorian pumphouse, and a pyramid mausoleum. You’ll also look after cleaning and caretaking, presentation of public areas and visitor facilities and the co-ordination of compliance and emergency planning.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Emergency procedures and Fire & Security procedures
- Understanding of facilities management and buildings maintenance, preferably with experience or qualification
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and ability to multi-task
- Willingness to work with and support volunteers
- Flexible, customer focussed approach with understanding of excellent service standards
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Outstanding communication, service, and people skills
- A desire to make a difference, show initiative, and work towards an environmentally friendly, welcoming Blickling Estate
