Job Description:
Housekeeping Team Leader The primary duty of this position is to assist and instructs housekeepers in a full range of housekeeping duties within the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains department inventory, receives and issues supplies
- Prepares requisitions, work order and makes minimal repairs to supplies and equipment.
- Trains and orient housekeeping staff
- Organizes and participates in HIT team approach to cleaning.
- Maintains and updates the Safety Data Sheets for any chemicals used in the department.
- Fills in as acting supervisor as needed
- Assists with housekeeping duties such as making of beds, laundry and general cleaning as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with Inventory management.
- Experience ordering commercial cleaning supplies/equipment
- One year of commercial/institutional cleaning experience
- Demonstrated experience training/mentoring others
Qualification & Experience:
- Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.
