Job Description:

Housekeeping Team Leader The primary duty of this position is to assist and instructs housekeepers in a full range of housekeeping duties within the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains department inventory, receives and issues supplies
  • Prepares requisitions, work order and makes minimal repairs to supplies and equipment.
  • Trains and orient housekeeping staff
  • Organizes and participates in HIT team approach to cleaning.
  • Maintains and updates the Safety Data Sheets for any chemicals used in the department.
  • Fills in as acting supervisor as needed
  • Assists with housekeeping duties such as making of beds, laundry and general cleaning as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Inventory management.
  • Experience ordering commercial cleaning supplies/equipment
  • One year of commercial/institutional cleaning experience
  • Demonstrated experience training/mentoring others

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.
