Job Description:
To ensure that the condition of all cinemas within the territories are adequately maintained with regard to employee and guest safety, the guest’s cinema going-experience and the long-term value of the cinema as an asset to the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide cinema management with training on building systems
- Undertake works as part of the planned improvement programmes and associated non budgeted capital works
- Carry out cinema maintenance visits to an agreed schedule providing accurate reports on the condition of the building.
- Provide support to the cinema management with maintenance related issues
- To propose and prepare annual Repairs and Maintenance P&L budgets
- To contribute to the Company’s success by suggesting ideas and encouraging the development of uniform Best Practice in the areas of cinema maintenance and operating efficiency.
- Responsible for managing the handover of new cinemas from Construction to Operations – ensuring that contracts for maintenance are in place and the necessary training of cinema management has been undertaken.
- Responsible for the cost control of expenditure arising from Repairs and Maintenance budgets identified within the Profit and Loss accounts for each cinema and across the Territory – including raising Purchase Orders and authorising Invoices. .
- Responsible for the cost control of expenditure arising from planned improvement programmes – including raising Purchase Orders and authorising Invoices.
- To contribute to the agreeing, reviewing and co-ordinating of national equipment and building maintenance contracts.
Job Requirements:
- Asbestos management knowledge preferred.
- Project and capex management and be able to demonstrate cost control efficiencies when required. Profit and loss experience would be advantageous
- A positive mindset that oozes an abundance of energy and passion and possess a can-do attitude.
- A proven track record working in a multi-site environment
- Experience dealing with HVAC plant, Fire and Emergency Lighting equipment.
- Familiar with Microsoft office and excel as a minimum. Oracle experience would also be a benefit.
- An ability to coach others as well as present and can communicate well at all levels.
- Experience of CAFM
- Forward thinking, strategic and organised whilst maintaining an ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Internal and external stakeholder management skills including experience with contractors and supply chain.
