Job Description:
To design, plan and implement ODEON’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, sales and delivery of ODEON content initiatives across the UK and Ireland
Job Responsibilities:
- Report weekly progress to senior management for trading
- Manage and produce daily content across ODEON social media channels in the UK and Ireland, to high standards of excellence, spelling, grammar etc
- Responsibility for the development and execution of the ODEON Social Media content calendar and briefing sessions ; bringing initiatives and campaigns to life to social media best practice and brand guidelines – engaging, lively and warm.
- Update manager and team on content priorities and feeds back to content brief owners internally and externally
- Produce monthly competitor and performance report as well as adhoc reports as required by internal stakeholders
- Source and brief assets for appropriate social media use ensuring usage and sign off is secured internally and from distributors
- Suggest and implement new features or products to develop brand awareness
- Create distributor funded advertising campaigns using Facebook custom audiences, Twitter tailored audiences and provide wrap up reports in a timely manner
- Maintain awareness of the role of guest services in the delivery of the social media strategy and prepared to support them during peak periods
- Publish reactive content according to slate, trends and news cycle
Qualification & Experience:
- Excellent organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- Ability to track and measure the success of campaigns
- Design and excellent copy writing skills experience preferred
- Proven experience in a social media or marketing role agency or client side
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Experience in developing social media strategies
