Job Description:
The Manager of Online FP&A is part of the Old Navy FP&A team supporting the monthly forecasting and close processes as well as the development of annual budgets and long-range planning for the Online business. The position will work collaboratively with business partners across the organization and will be responsible for ownership of key lines in the P&L, providing support to senior management for the multifaceted online division, as well as financial analysis and business case support for the Old Navy Strategy team. The position reports to the Director of Global FP&A.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of business analysis in collaboration with Online Business partners, Brand Strategy team, and Global Supply Chain in order to drive improved results
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, assist with income and expense modeling, and prepare presentations as required, including presenting work to senior/executive management
- Create and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams
- Strive for continuous improvement by evaluating current processes, reports, and financial models and implementing new methodologies to drive efficiencies and value-added enhancements
- Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information and reports, share best practices, and develop a sound understanding of systems knowledge
- Manage one direct report, overseeing Online Channel and Strategy Project Support
- Provide financial/business support to senior management through the annual budget process, monthly forecasting and close processes
Qualification & Experience:
- Organized, detail oriented, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including basic framework of the Profit & Loss Statement, Retail Finance knowledge a plus
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis or auditing
- Knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase
- Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify relevant information and present it to management
- Team player with a positive attitude who is flexible and can handle ambiguity
- Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Master Excel user with experience building reports and financial models
