Job Description:
Five Peace Corps Response Volunteers are needed with a Master’s degree in public health, monitoring and evaluation skills, and at least three years of experience in public health or HIV programs to support the improvement of health systems in South Africa. The Response Volunteer will be working with one of the three following organizations: Aurum Health Research, MatCH (Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health), and Anova Health Institute.
The Peace Corps Response Volunteer will provide support and strengthen the monitoring and evaluation practices of the local organizations. The Volunteer will also work alongside their counterpart to conduct site visit to review on-site practices in the M&E of testing, ARV initiation, patient retention and data quality to inform process improvement initiatives, as well as, train M&E officers and operational managers on M&E tools. The overall goal of this project is to develop a systematic approach for operational data analysis and usage at site level to guide programmatic decision-making.
