Job Description:
Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Senior Account Manager – New Business UK and Ireland.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and covert long-term strategic corporate relationships with new accounts.
- Review QR SME data to convert SME deals into Local and Multilateral Corporate deals.
- Work directly with client management teams of key trade partners to generate leads from data mining sessions.
- Maximise value from marketing spend.
- Represent QR at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarisation visits to maximise lead generation.
- Provide regular Market Intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
- Leverage internal data working closely with the digital direct team to generate corporate and SME leads.
- Develop tactical Sales and Marketing activities in support of sales opportunities in both Trade Partners and Corporate market place.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale.
- Ensure focus and activities prioritise premium cabin and high yield sales.
Qualification & Experience:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – Experience negotiating contracts and strong Influencing skills
- Data focused with the ability to spot and interpret market trends.
- PC literate with excellent knowledge of Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
- You will be educated to at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Equivalent along with role related experience ideally within the Aviation/travel industry.
