Sephora Hiring 2022 – Manager Inventory Analytics Margin & Reporting

Job Description:

As the Manager, Inventory Analytics, Margin & Reporting, you will be a key partner on aligning, tracking, measuring, and providing hindsight recommendations for key business initiatives and projects from beginning to end. You will own the planning operations, create and manage the corporate dashboard, consolidate all reporting, provide month-end consolidation and analysis of operational margin, inventory obsolescence, highlight successes and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and opportunities and implement/consolidate data in a clear & concise manner
• Responsible to build and roll-out new processes to the broader Merchandising & Planning team
• Partner with key stakeholders cross functionally to create and improve current tools, reports, templates
• Establishing effective working relationships with business partners and provide recommendations for process improvement
• Provide sound hindsight analysis of all Merchandising & Planning driven activities, with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness, inclusive of strategic findings and recommendations
• Standardize templates, reporting & identify areas of opportunities/gaps
• Review current process, templates, reporting and consolidate, roll-out to ensure efficiency & consistency among the organization.
• Consolidate and streamline data sources; ensure accuracy of data, working with IT & US teams to build in Canada view
• Review current business processes and adapt planning tools to support the current needs of the business
• Provide monthly analysis on key KPIs to Director, reporting on Operational Gross Margin and inventory obsolescence, aged inventory analysis; highlighting risks & opportunities and recommendations to hit KPI targets.

Qualification & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in business, MBA or advanced degree
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in the retail industry
