Job Description:
Our brand is beauty, and Marketing makes sure the world knows it. Our team of marketers and creatives develop innovative and thumb-stopping ways to engage Sephora Canada clients with advertising campaigns, promotions and inviting in-store experiences. The team works to build and reinforce the Sephora Canada brand purpose, define and elevate the Sephora Canada point of view, support our digital and in-store initiatives, develop content and campaigns for organic and paid social media and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of current digital design and motion graphic techniques, design trends and technologies to push SEPHORA to the forefront of the creative landscape
- Design digital assets at varying scales for numerous platforms inclusive of site, app, mobile, email, social assets (organic & paid) and internal communications
- Involved in the creative execution of Sephora’s social content, alongside the Art Director – including photo/video shoots, animations, and content captures
- Design the interfaces of internal websites and microsites for Sephora Canada
- Develop motion graphic/animated assets following the concept and vision brought forward by the Creative/Art Director, from static assets into final necessary formats i.e., MP4, .GIF, .HTML5
- Partner cross functionally with members of the larger marketing team, creative team, as well as other departments in Sephora Canada and Sephora US
- Engage in all phases of creative projects from concept through execution inclusive of storyboarding, wireframing, asset production, proofing, and testing
- Champion brand standards and tone of voice throughout the design process
Job Requirements:
- Your portfolio shows previous digital design works of a similar or comparable nature
- You are familiar with AODA standards for web and PDF
- Interpersonal is your middle name and you excel at expressing your ideas and creative opinions when presenting to larger teams and within the organization
- You have strong conceptual, layout and typographic skill sets
- You are proactive and agile with a strong attention to detail and experienced in proofing
- You have great understanding of design strategy and user experience
Qualification & Experience:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, Post-graduate program or College Diploma in design
- You hold expertise, passion and knowledge of digital design trends and best practices
- You have 5 – 7 years of related experience in Graphic Design with an expertise in Digital & Motion
- You have passion and expertise for creative and conceptual solutions – bringing them to life with motion and animation to deliver “thumb stopping” compelling creative executions
