Job Description:

The Print Specialist is responsible for developing relationships and penetrating print & promotional product sales in existing Strategic, Large and Mid-Market Accounts within a geographic territory. The print specialist serves as the subject matter expert for their assigned sales representatives and works with them to grow and develop the print & promo product category. The print specialist is the key point of contact within the division regarding the sales of print & promo supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve print & promo products revenue and gross margin targets in defined division
  • Participation in current account business reviews to introduce print & promo Supplies and increase revenue while adding value to the account
  • Conducts joint sales calls with sales reps to assist them in closing the sale
  • Target Segment – Strategic, Large and Mid-Market Accounts, geographic territory
  • Works with their Sales Manager to develop print & promo supplies sales strategies for their assigned territory/division
  • Achieve retention and penetration of print & promo products in existing OP accounts and new accounts
  • Time allocation – 50% customer, 50% non-customer
  • Provides expertise and input to the corporate-wide print & promo supplies program regarding product selection, training, and issue resolution.
  • Trains and coaches BE sales representatives on print & promo products, processes and buyers to increase their ability to access, persuade and close business

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
  • Minimum 3 years of selling experience penetrating or maintaining accounts
  • Previous print & promo product industry experience preferred
  • Strong computer literacy experience with CRM Tool
