Job Description:

The Facility Solutions (FS) Field Sales Director provides management and leadership to a team of Facility Account Executives located within the assigned Region. This team will support national and regional account activities within a defined region and geographic area. They will work and collaborate with BDDs, BDEs, TAM’s, KAM’s and their peers to facilitate various prospects through the sales cycle. This team is responsible for further penetrating and expanding facility solutions programs within their existing accounts. The Field Sales Director will play a critical role in developing, managing and expanding a rapidly growing national and regional account base, both in terms of number of accounts and revenue.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates partnership-type relationships with customer management
  • Manages team’s accounts margin performance
  • Develops pricing strategies, increases sales and enhances profitability
  • Works with FS National Account Executives to develop strategic plans to prospect, win and penetrate new FS business
  • Works with key suppliers to successfully drive sales within new and existing accounts
  • Manages purchase mix and compliance at customers’ locations and divisions
  • Establishes the appropriate brands, product bundles, ordering/delivery plans
  • Provides regional account leadership in the customer engagements to achieve required new revenue growth and profitability goals
  • Manages the process throughout the sales cycle including the development /oversight of key customer presentations and account reviews
  • Manages team’s account revenue growth and profit management and holds team members accountable to revenue and profit objectives

Job Requirements:

  • You hold your team accountable to expectations through regular feedback sessions and performance reviews
  • You are a strong people leader, skilled in hiring, developing, and coaching
  • You communicate comfortably and effectively with internal Executives on topics such as process improvement and sales activity
  • You interact comfortably and effectively with C-level customers, while presenting solutions and winning business
  • You have a strong ability to develop regional sales strategies with the goal of achieving and exceeding budgets through new business and growth of existing business

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience managing remote teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Salesforce.com
  • Management skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimization
  • High level of business acumen
  • Management and Leadership training
  • 6 – 8 years related experience
  • Training and coaching skills
  • High school diploma
  • Advanced selling & negotiation skills, including vendors
  • Excellent computer skills and technology competence
