Job Description:

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales results of an assigned book of accounts. You will grow sales and profitability by penetrating across all categories of products through relationships with your customer base by increasing sales across all customer sites and top users within their accounts. You are also responsible for prioritizing account portfolio, identifying core and specialty category opportunities, and teaming with experts where necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for setting your own schedule, maintaining your calendar of virtual appointments with customers and partners, and prioritizing activity based on your knowledge and understanding of the business. You will own customer compliance through retaining and growing sales at customer sites utilizing sales play. You will prioritize your account portfolio to gain a solid understanding of accounts, build strategic growth plans and identify new opportunities for resource deployment. By utilizing Salesforce on a regular basis, you will keep yourself organized and accounts updated, manage a healthy pipeline and advance opportunities as they progress.

Qualification & Experience:

  • You can set targets, design growth plans and work with product category sales team members
  • You have experience managing programs or business development
  • You have solid business, financial, operations and technology acumen
  • You interface well with customers at any level
  • 1-3 years successful sales experience
  • You have a strong ability to develop and deliver presentations and pitches
  • You understand consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • You are familiar with office supplies, including facility and breakroom, technology products, business furniture, print and promotional products
  • High School Diploma/GED required
