We’re hiring an analytical, organized and collaborative leader to be our Administrative Services Manager in the Vehicle Services Section of the DMV! Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs and coordinates the fiscal note process for the Vehicle Services Section.
  • Manages the Motorist Insurance Identification Database (MIIDB) program and the processes used for updating out-of-state insurance and non-use exemptions.
  • Represents the section and its legislative agenda and ensures the implementation plans (including rule-making efforts) for all of the section’s legislative changes are developed.
  • Responsible for the license plate cash fund budgetary requests, projections and expenditures, calculation and ordering for multiple entities, pertaining to License Plates and Inventory.
  • Oversees the Bulk Vehicle Records vendors and the execution of searches performed by them.
  • Monitors costs, researches, analyzes and formulates data in response to requests for budget pertaining to industry trends, License Plates and Inventory.
  • Manages as a 2nd level supervisor and decision maker for license plate and registration products statewide.
  • Oversees and manages subordinate employee’s tracking and reporting on the various bills, funds, legislation and other appropriations.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience with process development
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment
  • Previous experience in a supervisor or lead worker role
  • Four years of professional experience as a policy advisor, budget manager and/or in an administrative management role in a regulatory and/or policy environment.
  • Experience in a policy/legislative environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, Communications or similar related field as determined by the Department.
