We are looking for customer focused, driven individuals, with a passion for delivering excellent service, to join our friendly team! We have an exciting Full Time Team Leader opportunity in our busy Cardiff Hospital store, with a variety of shifts available working total 39 hours weekdays and weekends
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the team to achieve both individual and store targets including sales, shrink, waste, cash loss and staff costs
- Performance management of staff – lateness, absence, poor work rate, poor service
- Creating a customer service led culture which is always striving to improve performance
- Ensuring all staff deliver a professional, friendly service to all customers
- Deputise for Store Manager / Deputy Manager in their absence
- Work with the management team to maximise opportunities to drive sales and increase footfall
- Deliver a legal, safe and secure workplace
- Working with the management team to ensure store is fully compliant with pricing, promotions, legislation and landlord agreements
- Recruit, motivate & train the team to deliver individual and store targets, including average transaction value and add on sales
- Play an active role on the shop floor with the team
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience of leading and motivating a team
- Flexibility towards working hours
- Previous experience of working in a customer focused retail environment
- Proven experience of working to and achieving challenging Key Performance Indicators
