Job Description:

To investigate asset related issues within the retail/travel environment and produce strategic business plans for asset optimisation. This will cover Refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical. Supporting Maintenance Managers and retail colleagues to enable successful operational service

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and control reactive and planned maintenance contractors ensuring non statutory planned maintenance, KPIs and H&S standards are maintained.
• To manage and deliver a legally compliant estate to Landlord requirements, develop key relationships with landlord representatives
• Lead a network of contracted suppliers to deliver maintenance services, against KPI’s, monitoring output quality, represent the business at quarterly review meetings
• To manage compliance across all locations
• To be the point of contact for operational team in support of maintenance activities
• Plan and deliver maintenance management services to the Travel stores, assessing and prioritising of works to meet business requirements and compliance standards.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget for your sites to ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Knowledge of the permit to work system
• Review/approve and submit RAMS to landlord agents
• Implement a joined-up maintenance management approach across all locations and working with national strategy approach

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of CDM regulations and be the focal point for CDM in maintenance projects
• Demonstrate knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements for key asset systems and equipment eg Refrigeration, HVAC, Lifts
• Good understanding of catering equipment to support the Coffee shops etc across the business
• Budget management for both Capitol and Revenue Expenditure
• Capable of preparing and delivering presentations to senior management and the Clients
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levels
• Can demonstrate key knowledge and experience working with refrigeration, HVAC, Lifts, Electrical, hot and cold-water systems, renewable energy
• Experience in working in highly regulated locations such as airports, railway stations
• Minimum of HND in an engineering discipline or relevant experience in Facility management
• Contract management, scoping and ensuring delivery against KPIs
